Our Worship

Our Sunday morning service follows a traditional Methodist liturgy rooted in practices that stretch back centuries to the early Church. It is reverent, participatory, and grounded in the ancient rhythms of Christian worship — the kind of worship that has formed disciples across generations.

We believe worship is not a performance or a program — it is the gathered people of God offering themselves to Him in praise, confession, proclamation, and thanksgiving. Every element of our service is shaped by that conviction.

Elements of Our Service

Congregational Hymnody

We sing together — the great hymns of the Church, drawn from centuries of Christian worship. Singing is not a performance; it is the voice of the congregation lifted in praise to God.

The Apostles' Creed

Each Sunday we confess together the faith once delivered to the saints. The Creed is not a relic — it is a living declaration of what Christians in every age have believed about God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Responsive Readings

Our liturgy includes responsive readings from Scripture and the tradition of the Church. The congregation participates actively — worship is not something done for you, but something done together.

The Reading of Scripture

Generous portions of Holy Scripture are read aloud each Sunday. We believe the Word of God is living and active, and that hearing it read in the assembly is itself an act of worship.

The Sermon

Pastor Tim Sisk preaches expository sermons rooted in the lectionary and grounded in the Word of God. Our preaching is theologically substantive — we believe the Bible has something to say, and we take it seriously.

Holy Communion

Communion is observed on the first Sunday of each month. The Table is open to all who trust in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. We welcome you to receive with us.

For Our Children

Children's Church

Children 3K–3rd grade are invited to Children's Church during the 11:00 a.m. worship service. Upstairs, kids worship through songs, hear a Bible story, and discover how to apply God's Word to their lives — all in an interactive, joyful setting. Children's Church meets every Sunday, with the exception of Communion Sundays (1st Sunday of the month) and some holidays.

"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God."

Colossians 3:16
